After restyling all of her toy doll's hair as a young aspiring stylist, Linda began her career in hairdressing at a Holt hair salon when she was just 14 years old. Her first placement as a Saturday girl, working alongside a Vidal Sassoon-trained hairdresser, became the catalyst for her journey to creating Castell-Nash. She still treasures
After restyling all of her toy doll's hair as a young aspiring stylist, Linda began her career in hairdressing at a Holt hair salon when she was just 14 years old. Her first placement as a Saturday girl, working alongside a Vidal Sassoon-trained hairdresser, became the catalyst for her journey to creating Castell-Nash. She still treasures the Vidal Sassoon cutting book handed to her by her manageress. At 16, she started her apprenticeship, working directly with John Oliver. "I was incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a talented and business-minded hairdresser. Wherever John worked, I was by his side, and I realized this was my opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and experience." Linda has since worked in several Norfolk salons, building a loyal customer base, and most recently managed the Cutting Station in Reepham. To keep her skills sharp, she consistently updates her training with top brands like Schwarzkopf Colours and Paul Mitchell styling products. Linda has finally achieved her long-term dream of opening her own salon.
